BW Country Store is located at Big Walker Lookout near Wytheville, Virginia. We are at the overlook of the Big Walker National Forest Scenic Byway in western Virginia where I-77 and I-81 cross. We are a family owned business that has been in operation since 1947. Most of the products we offer on line are locally produced. Unless otherwise listed, our Jams and Jellies are made in an Amish Community in North Carolina just across the Virginia line. Our relishes and pickled products are made by a Mennonite Family here in western Virginia. Our crafters and artists are all local unless we specify otherwise. Everything is made in the United States unless we specify otherwise. Our mission is simple: to provide the best products and old fashion country service to our customers at the lowest prices possible. We take great pride in the BW Country Store, our crafters and artists, our 'over the top' customer service and in the products we sell. Our online store is designed to provide you with a safe and secure environment to browse our product catalog. As for shipping, it is always a sore subject with me that some folks try to inflate the shipping to the maximum. We currently ship by the cheapest way and have calculated an estimated shipping for the weight of the items you order. We will always calculate the actual shipping and only charge you that amount plus 1.00 per order. We add $1.00 per order for the cartons and packing we must buy. We will never charge you more for shipping than the program calculates for US delivery but, if possible, we will charge less. I hope you feel that is fair.
